Kitchen Supervisor Overview

 

Description:

            The Kitchen Supervisor at Kilroy’s on Kirkwood will be expected to manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. This position will report directly to the General Manager. Your accountabilities will be (but not limited to):

  • Own Kitchen.
    • Hiring, training, scheduling & firing your staff
    • On-Shift management. You will be a “player coach” as we will expect you to be on the line during peak hours with your staff.
    • You will be responsible for executing weekly inventory as instructed the General Manager and Inventory Manager.
  • L.M.A. (Lead, Manage, Accountability)
    • You will be expected to hold bi-monthly meeting with your staff to go over you departmental Scorecard
    • You will be expected to lead by example
    • You will be expected to hold you and your staff to a best-in-class standard.
  • Health Code Compliance
    • To comply with all Monroe County Health Codes.
    • To make sure the kitchen in all ways complies with Monroe County Health Department.
  • Catering/Off-Site
    • You will be responsible for staffing and executing any catering/off-site events.

Compensation:

  1. This role will pay anywhere from $25/hr-$30/hr. This will be agreed upon prior to your start date.
  2. You will be allowed free food while working.
  3. You will be given free entry & skip the line into all venues we own and operate.

Requirements

Time Requirement:

            This job will, on average, require you to work 5 days a week & 30/hrs per week. You will be expected to work Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. Some days as short as two hours (reporting days – Monday) and most other days are between 6–8-hour shifts. Those hours will generally be from 2PM-9PM

            This role will be roughly 40-42 weeks a year. We, on average, close for a few weeks over Christmas, Thanksgiving, Spring Break, and the Summertime. This is to provide a great work life balance and to provide you with time to spend with your family and friends
